Machines Sounds - Mimic Party Pack Guide

Machines is the second official themed pack bundled with Mimic Party. Expect industrial references — engines revving, beeps, ratchets and other mechanical noises that have no words to hide behind. As with every official pack, FoliesAPP has not published a track list, so we describe the theme rather than invent counts. Each round's reference is picked at random across the packs you own, and the whole table hears it exactly once before everyone records during the same countdown.

Machine noises love to sweep — sirens climb, engines rev through their range. That makes Melody the dimension to win here. The AI compares your pitch curve to the reference in relative pitch, so your register never counts against you: a deep voice tracing the same up-and-down curve as the reference scores the same as a high voice. You do not need to reach the siren's top note; you need to trace its shape, proportionally squeezed into whatever range you actually own.

Many machine sounds repeat on a dead-steady grid — the same clunk, over and over, at the same interval. The Rhythm dimension rewards keeping that interval honest: players report that rushing the repetitions under countdown panic hurts far more than a slightly wrong tone color, which is not scored anyway. Mark the tempo with a small body movement during the listen, then hold it to the end. We flag the specifics as a community estimate — FoliesAPP publishes the three dimensions, not their weights.

Reference sounds are picked at random across the packs you own, so a Machines evening also draws from every other pack installed at the table. Everyone must have the chosen packs installed before the game starts — the lobby names exactly who is still downloading.
